Our council is looking forward to another very busy year!! The Faithful Shepherd council hosted the 2007 state convention and keeps up there work on Building His Kingdom this year. The focus this year will be stay local, but include many events like Septemberfest, blood drives, and helping our four communities.

Staying active and trying to build a loving, faith filled, community is our mission.

We have lots to do this year. If anyone has a special talent or gift to share with the council on these, please let us know.

Thank you Mark Lasswell for organizing the email drive. Your help most assuredly increased participation in our events. If any Knights have not registered an email address with and would like to do so, please email Mark at mark.t.lasswell @ wellsfargo.com. Or you can email James Ankrum at james.ankrum @ gmail.com and he will forward the information.

About Our Council
Faithful Sheperd Council was founded in 1980. Through the efforts of the Dick Joos and others. For over 26 years, the council has been blessed with many kind and generous men that help serve as a role model to our community.

Our council has been very instrumental in the creation and support of Faithful Sheperd Catholic Schools. As of January 2006, the council has donated nearly $600,000 to the school.

The Council also supports, through it's charitable gambling proceeds (at Cooper's Restaurant and Stark's Saloon in Eagan), many local organizations. These organizations include the parishes of St. John Neuman, St. Peter's, and St. Thomas Becket. Wakota Life Care and many other causes are supports through our councils donations. The council also helped form the Mother Teresa 4th Degree Assembly that meets in Rosemount, MN. In 2003, the council passed $1,000,000 in charitable donations.
